Sarah became a fan of acting at an early stage, even though she was still in prep school. When her drama teacher caught her slicing across the lawn in an effort not to arrive late for the field hockey game, he advised she to not practice and take part in the production of Richard III and thus began her love affair with acting. Sarah's passion for acting inspired her to study the double degree of English and Theatre in Hamilton College.
